Battambang Deputy Governor Visits Border Forces, Delivers Aid

Battambang Provincial Deputy Governor, Mr. Ke Suon Sopheap, accompanied by a working group from the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) of Battambang Province, visited the border defense forces stationed at Ta Mean Sen Chey in the northwestern province on September 19, 2026. The visit aimed to express solidarity and high regard for the frontline soldiers. During the cordial meeting, Mr. Ke Suon Sopheap conveyed greetings and well wishes from all levels of leadership to the brave soldiers who are actively fulfilling their duties with courage and determination to protect the territorial integrity and national security of the motherland. He expressed sincere admiration and high appreciation for their heroism, sacrifice, and physical and mental strength in overcoming all obstacles to defend the nation, the motherland, and the peace of the people. He also encouraged the frontline forces to continue maintaining strong solidarity and high commitment in carrying out their noble mission. The aid provided included 5 tons of rice, 1,500 cases of mineral water, 5 pigs, and 2 cows. Additionally, Yeo's company donated 326 cases of soy milk, 1,103 cases of mixed fruit juices (passion fruit, lemon tea, and cranberry tea), 2,484 cases of various beverages, 20 cases of condensed milk, and other products. This humanitarian activity and visit not only help alleviate the daily living hardships of the forces but also serve as a significant morale booster, demonstrating the strong solidarity between the rear and front lines in jointly protecting sovereignty and peace.
