Kampong Thom Province Deputy Governor Outlines 6 Principles for New Deputy District Governor

Kampong Thom Provincial Deputy Governor Chea Vanchann has outlined six key principles for the newly appointed Deputy District Governor of Prasat Sambour District to ensure high efficiency in fulfilling duties. These principles are intended to serve as a compass for their work within the unit, aiming to guarantee internal solidarity and work effectiveness for the local population. These guiding principles were emphasized during the ceremony for the announcement of the Deputy District Governor's assumption of office, held on the afternoon of July 6, 2026, at the Prasat Sambour District Hall. The event was attended by numerous civil servants and relevant authorities. Yin Bun Sath was officially appointed as the Deputy Governor of Prasat Sambour District, replacing Man Sarath, who has been reassigned to a new position. Deputy Governor Chea Vanchann stressed that despite the change in leadership, the continuity of administrative work and public service delivery to citizens must not be disrupted. To meet the trust of the Royal Government and the Provincial Administration, he urged the newly appointed Deputy District Governor to adhere to the following six crucial principles: 1. Strengthening Internal Solidarity and Unity: Cooperate closely with the District Governor's Cabinet, the District Council, the armed forces, and civil servants at all levels. 2. Enhancing Public Service Delivery: Pay close attention to strengthening public service delivery to citizens, ensuring it is prompt, transparent, accountable, non-discriminatory, and upholds the culture of public service. 3. Adhering to Good Governance and Ethics: Always remember that civil servants are 'loyal servants of the people,' not their 'masters.' 4. Maintaining Security and Public Order: Continue to promote and lead the effective implementation of the 'Safe Village/Commune' policy. 5. Local Outreach and Problem Solving: Directly visit villages and communes to inquire about the well-being of residents, grasp their challenges, and understand their genuine needs. 6. Committing to Personal Development: Continuously strive to research and gain deeper understanding of new laws, regulations, guidelines, and administrative procedures. In response to these important principles, Yin Bun Sath made a firm commitment to: 1.
