Kuwait Targeted by Drones Amidst Iran-US Tensions

Kuwait has once again been subjected to drone attacks amid escalating tensions between Iran and the United States. According to the Kuwaiti army, its air defense systems intercepted several hostile drones that entered Kuwaiti airspace and targeted important locations within the country. This was reported by Xinhua News Agency on August 1st. A statement from the General Command of the Kuwaiti army indicated that these drones attacked a government building in the northern part of the country and civilian vehicles. Debris from the downed drones caused property damage, but there were no fatalities or injuries. Kuwaiti authorities claim this attack is an act related to Iran, stating that the explosions heard in other areas were caused by the interception by air defense systems.
