Typhoon Choi-Wan's Trough to Bring Rains to Philippines; ITCZ to Follow

The trough of Super Typhoon Choi-Wan is bringing rains to the Visayas and Mindanao regions of the Philippines, raising the risk of floods and landslides. While Choi-Wan itself is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, its effects are expected to persist for a few days, followed by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) bringing similar weather conditions.
