BMW Group Indonesia officially launched the latest premium electric SUV, the BMW iX3 Neue Klasse, at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 held at ICE BSD City, Tangerang Regency, on Wednesday (29/7/2026). Sunny Medalla, President Director of BMW Group Indonesia, stated that the presence of the BMW iX3 is a significant milestone for BMW's electrification transformation. The premium electric SUV boasts a latest-generation design, along with digital features including the BMW Panoramic iDrive and Operating System 10. The "Heart of Joy" technology integrates acceleration, braking, steering, and energy management to deliver a more precise driving experience. In terms of performance, the BMW iX3 50 xDrive is equipped with two electric motors, delivering a combined power of 345 kW (469 horsepower) and 645 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 4.9 seconds, has a maximum speed of 210 kilometers per hour, and offers a range of up to 805 kilometers based on WLTP standards.
