Key Party Leader Attends Opening of National Politics Academy's New Academic Year

Politburo member and Standing Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu attended the opening ceremony for the new academic year at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. He directed the academy to fully absorb and translate the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress into actionable plans with clear persons, tasks, timelines, and outcomes. This directive underscores the Party Central Committee's strong will to permeate Party ideology and enhance policy implementation capabilities within Vietnam's one-party system. The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics is the highest institution responsible for cultivating Party cadres and theorists, and its educational content and policies significantly influence the overall political and social direction of Vietnam. Tu further emphasized that the academy should serve as a "model of Party building." This implies that the academy itself is expected to meet the Party's ideal standards, including discipline, transparency, and efficiency. In recent years, Vietnam has intensified anti-corruption measures, making it essential for Party institutions to possess high ethical standards and execution capabilities to gain public trust. Furthermore, the academy collaborates with Samsung Vietnam on leadership training programs. This move can be interpreted as an effort to deepen cooperative relations with foreign invested enterprises driving Vietnam's economic growth and to foster talent with a global perspective. It suggests that strengthening Party leadership and talent development, alongside economic growth, are crucial issues for Vietnam's sustained development.
