Kandal Province, Cambodia -- July 1, 2026 -- Chab Vonny, Director of the Kandal Provincial Department of Information, highlighted that Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is becoming an extremely important tool in the media sector. He stated that AI greatly contributes to improving work efficiency by simplifying tasks such as content organization, document summarization, and proofreading for journalists. On June 30, the department held a meeting to review the work results of the first half of 2026 and formulate implementation plans for the second half. At the meeting, Director Vonny praised and highly commended all subordinate staff for their responsible execution of duties and for achieving excellent results. Concurrently, the Director urged all departments to adhere to discipline, strengthen their work capabilities, and expand information dissemination that is timely, accurate, and highly effective.
