Three youths robbed of motorcycle and mobile phone while swimming in a stream near Wae Thone Chaung village, Thongbyuzayat Township

It has been learned from local residents that three youths who went to swim in a stream near Wae Thone Chaung village in Thongbyuzayat Township, Mon State, were robbed of their motorcycle and mobile phones. Around 3 PM on September 11, three youths from Paing village in Thongbyuzayat Township were traveling on an unpaved road on a motorcycle to go swimming in the stream near Wae Thone Chaung village. According to a local resident, two men, each holding a long knife, stopped the motorcycle and stole the motorcycle and one mobile phone. The local resident added, "It is said that the perpetrators who stole the motorcycle and mobile phone are believed to be migrant workers. I have heard that a report has been filed with the relevant authorities."
