Personal Finance Index Ranked First Globally The financial dimension serves as a primary driving force for expatriates choosing Thailand. Eighty-five percent of expatriates in Thailand are satisfied with their overall cost of living, compared to the global average of thirty-nine percent. Seventy-eight percent report that their disposable household income is sufficient for a comfortable lifestyle, with fifty percent stating it is more than enough. Regarding housing affordability, close to four in five expatriates, or seventy-nine percent, rate housing costs favorably, outperforming the thirty-two percent global average. 2. Personal Safety Index Ranked Sixth Globally Regarding security and quality of life, personal safety represents a core strength confirmed by statistical data. Ninety-one percent of expatriates in Thailand feel completely safe, compared to the global average of eighty-one percent. The healthcare system stands out as a major benefit, with Thailand ranking fourth globally for the quality of medical care and fifth for healthcare availability. Eighty-six percent of expats report overall contentment with their life in Thailand, well above the global average of seventy percent, with forty-two percent expressing a desire to reside in the country permanently. Legal Analysis and Long-Term Residency Planning Satisfaction statistics ranging from eighty-four to ninety-one percent across various dimensions serve as empirical evidence that Thailand offers far more than tourism, establishing itself as a secure residential hub for international residents.
