Hanoi Clinic Suspended for Unlicensed Aesthetic Procedures

Hanoi's Department of Health has announced the results of its investigation into Kamly General Clinic (Phòng khám đa khoa Kamly), following media reports alleging the facility offered unlicensed aesthetic medical techniques such as NMN, NAD+, and stem cell infusions. The department has ordered the clinic to cease its medical examination and treatment services effective from 6:30 PM on August 3rd, and to remove all illegal advertisements. Upon receiving an official dispatch from the Ministry of Health's Administration of Medical Examination and Treatment on August 2nd, the Department of Health established an inspection team to verify the reported information. Preliminary findings revealed that the clinic failed to meet the conditions required for its operating license, lacked essential medical equipment and essential drugs for emergency cases, performed techniques not approved by the Ministry of Health, and advertised beyond its authorized scope of practice. Consequently, the Department of Health has transferred the business-related aspects concerning Kamly General Clinic's parent company, Kamily Co., Ltd. (Công ty TNHH Kamily), to the Hanoi Municipal Police Department's Internal Political Security Division for further investigation and legal processing. The department also requested the People's Committee of Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam ward to supervise the clinic's adherence to the suspension order until further notice from competent authorities. The Department of Health stated it will continue to collaborate with the police to investigate the clinic's violations and will report the outcomes to the Ministry of Health, the Hanoi People's Committee, and the Hanoi Party Committee.
