Monterona Appointed New CPD Mimaropa Regional Director
Adreal Denver Monterona from Angeles City, Pampanga, has been appointed the new regional director of the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) Mimaropa. Monterona brings extensive experience in public health, family planning, and population studies, having held various technical roles within the agency since 2014.
MANILA, Philippines — Adreal Denver Monterona of Angeles City, Pampanga, has taken his oath as the new regional director of the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) Mimaropa. Before leading the CPD unit in Southwestern Tagalog Region, Monterona served as assistant regional director of CPD Region III and had held various technical positions in the agency since 2014. Through the years, his work in communication, research, program development and public service has earned national recognition. He reaped awards for outstanding health communication and localization strategies. Beyond being a dedicated public servant, he is also an accomplished academic and researcher whose work focuses on adolescent reproductive health, family planning, population studies and health communication.
