Cambodia Emphasizes Peace and Stability, Cites Economic Growth and Public Support

Ke Kimyan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and head of the party's working group in Banteay Meanchey province, expressed his deep gratitude to the people nationwide for their continued trust and strong support for the CPP's leadership through all mandates of the government. His remarks were made on Sunday, July 26, 2026, during a meeting with district, commune, village branch party officials, and youth in Mongkol Borei district, Banteay Meanchey province. On this occasion, Ke Kimyan highly praised the sacrifices and efforts of all levels of authorities, party members, the private sector, religious circles, and the people throughout Banteay Meanchey province for their active cooperation in implementing the party's political program and the government's policies. In particular, he commended the local authorities, relevant units, working groups, and party members in Mongkol Borei district for demonstrating solidarity and patriotism by helping to resolve the difficulties of displaced citizens along the Cambodia-Thailand border and contributing to the protection of national territorial integrity and sovereignty during the recent tense border situation caused by the aggressive invasion of Thai soldiers. Ke Kimyan emphasized that Cambodia continues to maintain stability and economic growth under the leadership of Prime Minister Hun Manet and the continued implementation of the political path of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the CPP and President of the Senate. He stated that Cambodia's economy achieved a growth of approximately 4.2 percent in the first half of 2026, while development in key sectors continues to move forward. Alongside highlighting these achievements, he urged party members and local authorities at all levels to continue working together to protect peace, political stability, security, and social order, as well as to defend the nation, religion, monarchy, national sovereignty, and the Cambodian government. He also called for the effective implementation of the "Safe Village, Commune, and District" policy to ensure the peaceful living of the people.
