Popular Thai YouTuber Found Dead in Georgia Hotel
A popular Thai travel YouTuber, Hlun Solo, 26, whose real name is Bawornthat Pengsuk, has been found dead in a hotel in Tbilisi, Georgia, after being missing for over 15 days. Local authorities have launched an investigation, including the possibility of incitement to suicide.
A TRAVEL and transportation Facebook page said this evening (July 29) that a popular Thai travel YouTuber who has been missing in Georgia for over 15 days has been found dead at his hotel, Naewna newspaper said. Mr. Wanchai Akir Wongsaeng, who runs this Facebook page whose Thai name translate to “Volunteer Guide to Getting Lost”, said “I found Hlun’s body. I offer my condolences to Hlun’s family. I have informed the family. They will provide the details.” Following this post informing the public of the passing of Hlun Solo, 26, whose real name is Mr. Bawornthat Pengsuk, many fans and netizens expressed their condolences and offered support to his family. Georgia Today newspaper said that Hlun Solo was reportedly found dead in a hotel in the Georgian capital Tbilisi His family had been searching for him since he was reported missing on 13 July. Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation under Article 115 of the Criminal Code, which concerns incitement to suicide.
