Cambodia Cancels Phnom Penh Water Festival Amid Border Tensions
The Cambodian government has announced the cancellation of the Water Festival in Phnom Penh, scheduled for November 2026, to prioritize the situation along the Cambodia-Thailand border. While provincial celebrations will proceed as normal, the three-day holiday for civil servants will be maintained.
