Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce has ordered the promotion of 'Made in Thailand' policies and the development of strategic industries like bioenergy, semiconductors, and photonics to strengthen domestic industries and maintain global competitiveness. Tariff negotiations with the US are also scheduled for late August.
