The Ministry of Interior has emphasized that the quality of public administration services is a mirror reflecting administrative efficiency, good governance, and the confidence of citizens in state institutions and the government. In line with this, a working group led by His Excellency Sous Prathna, Director General of Administration of the Ministry of Interior, met with His Excellency Aun Chanda, Governor of Kampong Cham Provincial Administration, to inspect and evaluate the provision of public services at the one-stop service units of the Kampong Cham Provincial Administration. The meeting was held in the conference hall of the Kampong Provincial Hall on August 3, 2026. His Excellency Sous Prathna stated that this meeting was organized according to the recommendations of the leadership of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, and in accordance with the concerns of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, who always pays high attention to the well-being and convenience of citizens in accessing public services. The Director General clearly stated, "The purpose of this visit is to jointly inspect and improve the work system to be smoother, not to identify errors or put pressure on any unit." The working group aims to understand the practical challenges to facilitate and clearly identify responsible institutions, ensuring that all citizens' documents are cared for and resolved in a timely manner. His Excellency the Director General also encouraged all civil servants and relevant parties to actively provide opinions, share experiences, and raise various challenges related to land issues and other sectors. These inputs will be compiled for the leadership and submitted to Samdech the Prime Minister to request guidance with the aim of simplifying work procedures and better serving the public. His Excellency Aun Chanda reported that in the first half of 2026, the Kampong Cham Provincial Administration provided a total of 203,704 services to citizens. This includes 21,513 services from the provincial one-stop service unit, 106,031 services from the municipal/district one-stop service office, and 76,160 services from the commune/sangkat one-stop service mechanism. Regarding land management, urban planning, and construction services (systematic land registration), 917,795 land titles have been surveyed, with 895,565 titles ready for distribution to citizens. Of these, 889,710 have been distributed, and 5,855 are in the process of being distributed. Additionally, the provincial administration has accelerated the resolution of 7,059 pending services in land management, urban planning, and construction, with 5,000 services completed and distributed, and 2,059 services currently undergoing the mechanism process.
