Kandal Province Governor Urges Scrutiny of Priority Projects
Kandal Provincial Governor Kuoch Chamroeun has urged the Provincial Council's Technical Coordination Committee to focus on scrutinizing priority projects that serve the interests of local residents. The directive came during a meeting on the 2027 provincial development budget, which covers projects in four areas: economy, society, land management, environment, disaster and climate change, and administration and order.
Kandal Provincial Governor Kuoch Chamroeun has urged the Provincial Council's Technical Coordination Committee to focus on scrutinizing priority projects that serve the interests of local residents. The Governor issued this directive during a meeting of the Provincial Council's Technical Coordination Committee on September 9, 2026, held in the provincial hall's meeting room, to review, discuss, and approve development projects for the 2027 provincial budget. The meeting was attended by provincial councilors, the mayors of the 13 districts and cities, security forces, and relevant provincial departments and units. The 2027 provincial development projects are divided into four main areas: economy, society, land management, natural resources, environment, disaster and climate change, and administration and security and order.
