Kandal Provincial Governor Kuoch Chamroeun, accompanied by relevant department officials and Takhmao City authorities, inspected pumping stations within Takhmao City on the afternoon of September 14. The inspection aimed to ensure the efficiency of floodwater drainage operations in response to the rainy season. The Kandal Provincial Administration consistently prioritizes the well-being and livelihoods of its citizens. It has implemented numerous emergency response measures to address local challenges, particularly focusing on enhancing the effectiveness of wastewater and floodwater drainage infrastructure within Takhmao City, as well as improving its aesthetic appeal. During the inspection, the Governor meticulously reviewed the pumping stations' machinery capacity, preparing to respond to any potential weather-related events or heavy rainfall that may occur if not adequately prepared in advance.
