IPS Cambodia Bolsters Senior Leadership with Key Appointments

IPS Cambodia has announced a series of senior appointments and internal promotions across its Phnom Penh and Siem Reap operations, further strengthening the company’s management structure as it enters its next stage of growth. Sovisaljerry “Sovi” Meach joins IPS as Business Development Manager, while Christopher Schoenbohm has been promoted to Head of Condominium Sales, Pheaktra Sok to Head of Residential Leasing and Kosal Ky to Head of Marketing. In Siem Reap, David Granger has been promoted to Branch Director and Jennie Bocog to Branch Manager, establishing a clearer leadership structure for IPS’s operations in the province. Together, the appointments combine new external expertise with the progression of experienced IPS team members, reflecting the company’s continued investment in specialist leadership, professional development and long-term growth. Sovi Meach Joins IPS as Business Development Manager Sovisaljerry “Sovi” Meach joins IPS Cambodia as Business Development Manager, bringing a diverse professional background spanning law, government, international business and entrepreneurship. Sovi attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he majored in Law, before completing a period with Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defense. He subsequently moved into the private legal sector, consulting with DFDL and working in areas including real estate law, economic land concessions and mining concessions. This experience gave him a strong understanding of Cambodia’s legal and regulatory environment, alongside exposure to complex commercial transactions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sovi co-founded a US federal government procurement company, where he oversaw the execution of more than US$100 million in cross-country supply contracts. At IPS Cambodia, Sovi will focus on business development, strategic partnerships and new areas of growth. His experience across Cambodian and international markets will support the company in developing relationships with corporate clients, investors, developers, professional services firms and other strategic partners. His appointment brings additional commercial, legal and institutional experience to the IPS senior management team as the company continues to expand its corporate and international business activities. Christopher Schoenbohm Promoted to Head of Condominium Sales Christopher Schoenbohm has been promoted to Head of Condominium Sales, taking responsibility for one of IPS Cambodia’s key growth divisions. Chris brings a combination of international finance, entrepreneurship and more than a decade of experience living and working in Cambodia. Before establishing his career in Cambodian real estate, he worked in capital markets in the United States, including managing institutional capital and assisting private equity clients with the sale of more than US$700 million in publicly traded stock. He later co-founded a venture-backed technology company that achieved a successful acquisition exit before spending close to a decade leading a sustainable education NGO in rural Cambodia. Having lived and worked in Cambodia for more than ten years and speaking Khmer, Chris combines an understanding of the local market with extensive experience working with international buyers and investors. Since joining IPS, Chris has played a central role in expanding the company’s international business and condominium sales capabilities. He helped establish and grow IPS’s international sales desk, developing relationships with major condominium developers and building a portfolio representing more than US$150 million in residential inventory. During his first year with the company, he also closed more than US$10 million in cross-border transactions. As Head of Condominium Sales, Chris will lead IPS’s growing international condominium sales team and oversee relationships with buyers, investors and developers. His focus will include strengthening international sales channels, developing new overseas markets and ensuring clients receive professional investment analysis and advice throughout the acquisition process. Strengthening Residential Leasing and Marketing Leadership IPS is also recognising the continued development of Cambodian talent within the company through the promotions of Pheaktra Sok and Kosal Ky. Pheaktra Sok has been promoted to Head of Residential Leasing, following his progression through the IPS residential team. Previously a Senior Property Consultant, Pheaktra has developed extensive practical experience across Phnom Penh’s residential rental market, including landlord negotiations, corporate and expatriate relocations and premium residential properties. In his new role, Pheaktra will lead the residential leasing team, with responsibility for service standards, consultant development and relationships with tenants, landlords and corporate relocation clients. Kosal Ky has been promoted to Head of Marketing, recognising his contribution to the development of IPS Cambodia’s digital marketing, content, advertising and communications capabilities. Kosal brings more than ten years of experience in real estate marketing and has played an important role in developing IPS’s digital campaigns and supporting its sales teams. As Head of Marketing, he will lead the department as it continues to strengthen the IPS brand, expand its digital reach and connect Cambodian real estate opportunities with domestic and international audiences. Strengthened Leadership for IPS Siem Reap Alongside the Phnom Penh appointments, IPS has strengthened the management structure of its Siem Reap branch through the promotions of David Granger and Jennie Bocog. David Granger Promoted to Siem Reap Branch Director David Granger has been promoted to Siem Reap Branch Director, recognising his longstanding contribution to IPS and his role in developing the company’s operations in the province. David joined IPS in 2017 and brings extensive management and sales experience to the business. During his time with the company, he has worked across residential sales, leasing, property management and business development, while developing strong relationships with property owners, buyers and investors. His years working in Cambodia and Southeast Asia have given him a strong understanding of international client requirements alongside the characteristics of the Siem Reap property market. David has also played an important role in building the local team and developing the branch into a broader real estate operation serving both Cambodian and international clients. As Branch Director, David will focus on the long-term direction of IPS Siem Reap, including business development, major client relationships, market positioning and new opportunities across Siem Reap and the surrounding region. Jennie Bocog Promoted to Siem Reap Branch Manager Jennie Bocog has been promoted to Siem Reap Branch Manager, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the branch and its team, ensuring high service standards and operational efficiency.
