Bangkok Enhances Infrastructure with Monopole Pole Installation for Improved Safety

The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) is proceeding with the replacement of over 58 old iron poles with monopoles in Bangkok's administrative areas. This infrastructure enhancement aims to improve urban safety and reliability. The MEA conducted an on-site inspection to confirm the progress of this project. Monopole poles are considered superior to traditional iron poles in terms of durability, wind resistance, and aesthetics. This is expected to reduce the risk of power pole collapse due to strong winds or adverse weather, thereby suppressing incidents like power outages.
