Kampong Thom Police Chief Visits Rubber Plantation, Reinforces Security Measures

Kampong Thom Provincial Police Chief Heng Sophal led forces to visit and meet with staff and workers at the Phuokfa Rubber Plantation in Sre Snom Village, Boeung Lvea Commune, Santuk District, Kampong Thom Province on September 15, 2026. Lieutenant General Heng Sophal stated that the visit and inspection of the situation at this location were carried out in accordance with the attention of His Excellency General Sar Thet, Director General of National Police, and His Excellency Nuon Pharat, Governor of Kampong Provincial Administration, as well as at the request of Phuokfa Rubber Plantation. The Provincial Police Commissioner emphasized that police forces must continue to inspect and study the geographical situation to strengthen the protection and maintenance of security, safety, and public order, as well as to prevent and curb all types of crimes to ensure harmony and safety for the people and the nation. On this occasion, Lieutenant General Heng Sophal advised the staff and workers to take care of their health, live cleanly, eat clean and hygienic food, and regularly clean the environment around their living quarters, especially to sleep in mosquito nets to protect themselves from diseases caused by mosquitoes. Lieutenant General Heng Sophal also appealed to the people to participate in maintaining and loving peace, and to continue participating in the implementation of the "Safe Village-Commune-District" policy, focusing on providing quality and transparent public services, preventing and cracking down on crimes, maintaining public order, preventing traffic accidents, immorality, human trafficking, domestic violence, and juvenile delinquency, as well as resolving local disputes, maintaining hygiene, aesthetics, environment, and preparing to respond to disasters and epidemics. In addition, Lieutenant General Heng Sophal advised the staff and workers to be cautious of fraud through technology and online systems in all forms to protect social security and order and the legal interests of the people, and urged them to participate in implementing Sub-decree No. 03 on the management of security in concentrated residential areas to contribute to the prevention and suppression of online fraud crimes. Lieutenant General Heng Sophal advised that if the staff and workers encounter any challenges or difficulties, they should report them to the local authorities so that the forces can intervene and resolve them in a timely manner.
