Phnom Penh Accelerates Drainage Canal Cleaning Ahead of Rainy Season to Mitigate Flooding

Phnom Penh City is intensifying cleaning efforts on the D'Arkk Mal drainage canal to mitigate flood damage during the rainy season. To date, 790 meters have been cleared, with work progressing on remaining sections and culvert construction. Public awareness campaigns are also underway.
