Takeo Governor Inspects District Party Organization, Emphasizes Listening to Residents

In Takeo province, Governor Vei Samnang, who is also a member of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), held a meeting with CPP leadership in Trang district. The gathering took place on September 12, 2026, at the Trang district CPP meeting hall, with the participation of party leaders and officials from the district's 14 communes. Governor Vei Samnang conveyed warm greetings from CPP President Samdech Techo Hun Sen and CPP Vice President and Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvo Thipadei Hun Manet to the attendees. The governor highlighted the significant achievements Cambodia has made over the past 40 years under the leadership of the CPP. He pointed out the transformation of the country from one ravaged by war to a nation enjoying complete peace and steady economic growth. This, he stated, has led to improved living standards for the people, which in turn has resulted in the public consistently placing their trust in and voting for the CPP term after term. Furthermore, the governor instructed the party leaders and all party members in Trang district to focus on several important tasks. Each party member must strive to visit the homes of residents, understand their living conditions and specific needs, and promptly assist in resolving their issues. He also urged them to work diligently to explain and persuade the public to clearly understand the genuine achievements resulting from the CPP's correct leadership policies. He encouraged the people to actively participate with the government, under the leadership of the CPP, to ensure the continuation of development, security, and unceasing progress.
