San Jose del Monte City in the Philippines continues to grapple with severe water supply issues, despite changes in its water operator. The city government is in the process of selecting a new operator, but residents remain concerned about the ongoing scarcity.
MANILA, Philippines – Many towns in Bulacan are submerged in water due to anomalies in flood control projects. In San Jose del Monte, the problem is the water supply. The water problem in San Jose del Monte began when PrimeWater, formerly owned by the Villars, entered the picture. The city government has since taken over after the problem was exposed and chose Metro Pacific Water as the interim water operator. Despite this, residents are still facing water supply issues.
