Philippines Focuses on Greening and Community Contribution Post-Mine Closure
Following the closure of a nickel mine in Palawan, Berong Nickel Corp. is investing P160 million in rehabilitating 100 hectares of land and planting trees. The company also contributed approximately P200 million to community development, focusing on education and infrastructure.
