Cambodian Ministry of Information Delegation Arrives in Beijing for Seminar on New Media and High-Quality Industrial Development
A delegation from Cambodia's Ministry of Information has arrived in Beijing at the invitation of the Chinese government to attend a seminar titled "New Media to Promote High-Quality Industrial Development for ASEAN Countries." The 14-day program, running from September 15-28, will focus on new media trends, digital journalism, and promoting high-quality industrial development.
A delegation from Cambodia's Ministry of Information has safely arrived in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China, at the invitation of the Chinese government. The delegation will participate in the "Seminar on New Media to Promote High-Quality Industrial Development for ASEAN Countries," which will be held from September 15 to September 28, 2026. During this official 14-day mission, the Ministry of Information delegation will actively engage in training sessions and study tours in Beijing and Chongqing. These programs are organized by China Broadcasting International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd. (CBIC). The training focuses on studying new media trends, effective digital journalism practices, and the utilization of modern media to promote and disseminate high-quality and sustainable industrial development. Furthermore, the Cambodian delegation will gain practical experience through study visits and direct exchanges with major media institutions and technology companies in Beijing and Chongqing. This seminar is expected not only to enhance the capabilities of officials in using modern media but also to play a significant role in strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and China, as well as contributing to the development of the media sector across the entire ASEAN region.
