Davao Mayor Asserts Accountability for Contracts with Sara-Linked Firm

Davao City Mayor Sebastian Z. Duterte testified before the Senate impeachment court that he remains accountable for city contracts with GenCorp Industries, a firm in which his sister, Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio, holds a stake, even after delegating signing authority. Discrepancies in the number of contracts were also revealed.
