Thailand Dismantles Illegal Internet Network on Cambodian Border

Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), in collaboration with the military and police, has conducted an operation to dismantle an illegal internet network in Sa Kaeo province, near the Cambodian border. The network was reportedly transmitting internet signals into Cambodia illegally. The NBTC stated that the provision of illegal internet services can serve as a breeding ground for cybercrimes and other illicit activities. This operation aims to prevent such activities. The border region between the two countries presents a complex communication infrastructure landscape, making it susceptible to the establishment of illegal networks.
