Cambodian Defense Minister Delivers Food Aid to Troops Near Preah Vihear Border

The Ministry of National Defense of Cambodia has provided 330 cases of canned fish as aid to troops stationed in the border area with Thailand in Preah Vihear province. This donation was made by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Tea Seiha and was received by military officials on the afternoon of September 3, 2026. The aid aims to support the livelihoods of soldiers engaged in the critical task of border defense. During the handover ceremony, military representatives expressed their profound gratitude to former acting head of state Hun Sen, Prime Minister Hun Manet, and Minister Tea Seiha and his wife for their continuous concern for the well-being of the soldiers. Emphasis was placed on the importance of supporting troops deployed on the front lines, including those in the Preah Vihear sector's first front and units stationed along the Thai border, in safeguarding the nation's territorial integrity. The military units reaffirmed their commitment to strictly adhere to the orders of the leadership of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and to effectively and successfully carry out their duties in defending the territorial integrity.
