The Cambodian Karate Federation held an encouragement ceremony for its delegation of 40 people, including athletes, coaches, and officials, before their departure to compete in the 13th Southeast Asian Karate Championship. Acting on behalf of the Federation President, Aun Pornmoniroth, who is also Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, the Secretary General of the Cambodian Karate Federation, Vath Chamroeun, delivered words of encouragement to the delegation. He emphasized that participating in international competitions is a mission representing the nation, and maintaining dignity, discipline, and ethics is paramount, even more so than winning or losing. He urged the athletes to take good care of their health and to exert their utmost effort to achieve outstanding results for the country and the federation. The expenses for this delegation's participation are fully supported by Federation President Aun Pornmoniroth, and the athletes expressed their gratitude for his support.
