Supreme Administrative Court Upholds Ruling to Reinstate Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization Chief

The Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand has upheld a lower court's decision to revoke the dismissal of Nipon Boonyamanee from his position as Chief of the Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO). On August 3, 2024, the Central Administrative Court read out the Supreme Administrative Court's verdict in case number Black No. Or. 2001/2566, Red No. Or. 702/2569. The case involved Nipon Boonyamanee as the plaintiff, and the National Anti-Corruption Commission and the Minister of Interior as the defendants. The Supreme Administrative Court ruled to revoke the Ministry of Interior's order No. 1528/2564, dated June 25, 2021, which dismissed the plaintiff from his position as Chief of the Songkhla PAO for the term from August 4, 2013, to June 27, 2019.
