Indonesia Adjusts Fuel Prices from September 1st, Pertamax Turbo and Others Increase

Indonesia's state-owned oil company Pertamina will adjust the prices of some non-subsidized fuels starting September 1, 2026. The products affected by this price adjustment are Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex. "This price adjustment is carried out only for some non-subsidized fuel products, namely Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex, and Dexlite, while other non-subsidized fuel products such as Pertamax 92 and Pertamax Green 95 do not experience price adjustments," she said in a written statement on Monday (August 31, 2026). "This is done by considering the economics, purchasing power, and social conditions of the community," she added. Specifically, Pertamax Turbo will increase from Rp 18,300 to Rp 19,600 per liter. The price hike for diesel fuels is more significant, with Dexlite rising from Rp 19,700 to Rp 23,700 per liter, and Pertamina Dex from Rp 21,150 to Rp 25,200 per liter. Pertamina assures that these adjustments do not alter the company's commitment to maintaining product quality and providing services to consumers.
