CPP Concludes Political Training Course, Emphasizing Cadre Development

On the afternoon of August 4, 2026, Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdey Say Chum, Vice President of the Party and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee, presided with high honor over the closing ceremony of the 26th session of the Party's Level 2 political training course. The event took place at the 7 January Palace in Phnom Penh and was attended by esteemed guests, including excellencies, ladies, chairmen, vice-chairmen, and representatives from various institutions surrounding the Central Committee. During the closing ceremony, Samdech Pheakdey Say Chum expressed his delight and honor in presiding over the event. He conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Party; Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, Honorary President of the Party; all Party Vice Presidents; and other high-ranking party leaders to all attendees. After attentively listening to the report from the Propaganda and Education Commission of the Party Central Committee regarding the training course's process and the trainees' learning outcomes, Samdech Pheakdey Say Chum highly commended the Propaganda and Education Commission, the training management committee, the instructors, the trainees, and the supporting staff for their collective efforts in achieving satisfactory results for the 26th session of the Level 2 political training course. He noted this as another new achievement in the party's human resource development. Samdech Pheakdey Say Chum emphasized that the knowledge gained by the trainees serves as a mirror reflecting past work, highlighting strengths to be reinforced and expanded, as well as weaknesses to be corrected or eliminated. He further stated that this knowledge acts as a guiding light or compass, enabling them to adhere to the party's statutes, internal regulations, political program, principles, policies, and decisions, as well as state laws. This process, he added, would also strengthen each individual's political, ideological, and organizational stance. Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdey Say Chum also pointed out the factors contributing to the successful political training, including: 1. The Party's correct leadership in building human and human capital, both historically and currently. 2. The attention given to political education by the party committees of capitals, provinces, ministries, and all institutions. 3. The dedication of all instructors in sharing their knowledge and valuable experiences. 4. The trainees' commitment to learning, discipline, and fostering friendships with the aim of becoming good successors to the party. 5. The diligent efforts of the Propaganda and Education Commission of the Central Committee and all educational staff in fulfilling their roles. 6. The conducive social environment that allowed trainees, especially those from the provinces, to study with peace of mind. On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee, Samdech Pheakdey Say Chum expressed his strong confidence that all trainees will utilize the knowledge acquired from this training to refine themselves in all party movements, thereby becoming good and capable party officials and successors for the future.
