Cambodia Focuses on Community Development and Resident Support, Praising Working Group's Efforts

In Stung Treng Province, Cambodia, Governor Say Kimlom has called on local residents to place their strong faith in the local development working group. This appeal was made during a visit to Thlok village, Chhona Loa commune, Stung Treng district, where the governor, accompanied by a working group led by His Excellency Chan Sinat, distributed aid to vulnerable and disabled residents and directly assessed their living conditions and needs. During the occasion, Governor Say Kimlom conveyed greetings and well wishes from His Excellency Chan Sinat, the head of the working group for Chhona Loa commune. His Excellency Sinat consistently shows deep concern for the well-being of the residents of Chhona Loa commune, particularly highlighting the construction of significant infrastructure projects such as a concrete road spanning over 10 kilometers. This road connects Chhona Loa commune to the border of Damrei Slab commune, facilitating convenient, swift, and safe travel for the community. Furthermore, Governor Say Kimlom encouraged residents to actively engage in their livelihoods, maintain robust health, and collectively preserve peace and stability. He urged them to cherish the achievements brought about by the working group and to contribute further to the development of their local area. On behalf of the residents of Chhona Loa commune, Governor Say Kimlom expressed his profound gratitude to His Excellency Chan Sinat and the working group for their coordination in supplying water to save the rice fields, which were suffering from drought, and helping them to flourish again. It should be noted that during this visit, 23 families received assistance, with each family being provided with one bag of rice, one sarong, clothing, food items, and a sum of money to help alleviate their living burdens and share their difficulties for a time.
