Celebrity Ayu Dewi and her daughter Aqilah faced significant travel disruptions returning to Jakarta from Bangkok after attending an international competition in Thailand. The eruption of Anak Krakatau volcano caused flight cancellations and delays due to volcanic ash, leaving her stranded in Bali. Dewi and Aqilah were scheduled to fly from Bangkok to Jakarta at 8:00 AM yesterday but were asked to wait until 9:45 AM before the flight was ultimately canceled. She later secured a ticket for a 12:40 PM flight, but could not reach Jakarta as the airport was reportedly closed due to volcanic ash. Ayu Dewi and her daughter finally landed in Bali around 5:55 PM WITA yesterday. She mentioned circling for about 15 minutes due to runway traffic, as the only available flight to Indonesia was to Denpasar. Sharing the crowded scene at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali on her Instagram, Dewi expressed her confusion about returning to Jakarta. "I'm relieved to have arrived in my own country, but I'm still confused about how to get back to Jakarta. Checking flights to Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Solo, and Semarang for connecting train travel, availability is difficult. I'm currently trying land routes," she stated. Ultimately, Ayu Dewi opted for sea travel. She shared a reflection on the situation, writing, "Thank you, my God, through this situation, You taught me many more things... The patience I've known is still far from the patience You want me to understand more... the love I feel is not yet as meaningful as the love You want me to feel more... the gratitude I show may not be as deep as the gratitude You want me to live by...
