Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command Launches "Promote Winning Competition - Continue Writing the Epic" High-Point Emulation Drive

On September 4, the Command of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum organized the launch of a high-point emulation drive with the theme "Promote Winning Competition - Continue Writing the Epic." The drive aims to excellently complete the periodic maintenance mission in 2026, in practical celebration of the 80th anniversary of the National Resistance Day and the 82nd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, and the 37th anniversary of the All-People's Defense Day. The high-point emulation drive will take place from September 4 to December 25, 2026, focusing on three main aspects: building the highest determination and responsibility among cadres, personnel, and soldiers; achieving the highest results in performing political tasks; and building regularization, strict adherence to law and discipline, developing science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and administrative reform. Specifically, the drive will concentrate on the comprehensive and timely completion of the periodic maintenance mission for the Mausoleum structure, with a focus on major and trọng tâm tasks. The goal is to ensure that after maintenance, the technical equipment systems operate better and more reliably, the architectural structure is more spacious and durable, and better meets the requirements of the mission. To effectively achieve the emulation objectives and targets, Major General Pham Van Hieu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Đoàn 969, and Chairman of the Command's Emulation and Commendation Council, requested that all agencies and units focus on educating cadres, personnel, and soldiers to fully grasp the purpose, requirements, theme, content, and targets of the emulation drive. This understanding will serve as the basis for building correct motivation, high responsibility, and determination to successfully complete assigned tasks. He also emphasized the need to concretize emulation content and targets to align with the specific requirements and situations of each agency and unit, to maintain strict and unified implementation, and to promptly identify and resolve difficulties and obstacles, ensuring that emulation targets are comprehensively achieved with the best results. The leadership and direction from Party committees, political commissars, political officers, and commanders, combined with the roles of the Emulation and Commendation Council, political agencies, political officers, the soldiers' council, and mass organizations, are crucial in guiding and urging the implementation to create a vigorous emulation spirit, motivating cadres, personnel, and soldiers to strive for the successful completion of the emulation movement. At the ceremony, the Command also announced and awarded prizes to collectives and individuals who achieved success in the Command's Sports and Physical Training Meet. Furthermore, it recognized achievements in the 2026 Excellent Lecturer Contest and in the implementation of Resolution 984-NQ/QUTW of the Central Military Commission on leading the improvement of the quality and effectiveness of military history work until 2020 and subsequent years.
