Orange Heavy Rainfall Warning Issued for Bataan, Zambales

MANILA, Philippines — Several areas in Bataan and Zambales were placed under the orange heavy rainfall warning on Friday morning, September 11, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). The orange warning means that affected areas will experience rainfall between 15 millimeters (mm) and 30 mm within an hour, and this will continue in the next two hours. In its heavy rainfall warning advisory at 5 a.m., the state weather bureau said the orange warning applied to Morong, Hermosa, Dinalupihan, Samal, Orani, Bagac and Abucay in Bataan; and Castillejos, San Antonio, Subic and Olongapo in Zambales.
