The Third Regular Session of the Union Parliament will be held in September

The Union Parliament announced on August 31 that the third regular session of the third convocation of the Union Parliament will be convened in September. According to Article 79 of the Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Article 13 of the Union Parliament Law, and Rule 8, sub-rule (b) of the Union Parliament Rules, the third regular session of the third convocation of the Union Parliament will commence at 10:00 AM on September 29 in Nay Pyi Taw. Furthermore, in accordance with Article 155 of the Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Article 35 of the National Assembly Law of 2012, and Rule 3, sub-rule (b) of the National Assembly Rules of 2015, the third regular session of the third convocation of the National Assembly will commence at 10:00 AM on September 22 in Nay Pyi Taw, as announced by the National Assembly. In addition, the third regular session of the third convocation of the People's Assembly will commence at 10:00 AM on September 21 in Nay Pyi Taw, in accordance with the provisions of Article 126 of the Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Article 35 of the People's Assembly Law of 2012, and Rule 3, sub-rule (b) of the People's Assembly Rules of 2013, as announced by the People's Assembly. Therefore, Members of Parliament attending their respective assemblies are urged to notify the relevant authorities within office hours, whether or not they have received the invitation, to enable them to make the necessary preparations for the session before the designated dates.
