Illegal Fishing Decreases by 70-80% in Kampong Thom Province, Around Tonle Sap Lake
Kampong Thom Province, Cambodia, reviewed the results of its crackdown on illegal fishing during the 2025-2026 fishing season. Illegal fishing activities around Tonle Sap Lake have decreased by 70-80%. Further measures were outlined for the upcoming fishing ban period starting June 1st.
