Cambodia Suspends Nurse's License for Two Years Over Ethical Violations and Improper First Aid

The National Council of Nurses of Cambodia issued a decision on August 4, 2026, to revoke the professional license of nurse Chhun Polly and suspend her from practicing as a nurse for a period of two years. Polly is a member of the Cambodian Nursing Council. Chhun Polly, holding professional license number CCN-LP-001028, which was valid from November 3, 2021, to November 3, 2024, will be prohibited from practicing as a nurse for two years, commencing from August 10, 2026. The reason for this disciplinary action is attributed to Polly's commission of acts contrary to the nursing code of ethics and her improper implementation of first aid techniques. This decision is aimed at ensuring the professionalism of healthcare providers and the safety of patients, and is seen as part of efforts to maintain the quality of medical services in Cambodia.
