Ho Chi Minh City to Expand National Highway 13 to Nearly Triple Its Width

Ho Chi Minh City will commence the expansion of National Highway 13 on September 2nd. This BOT project, costing nearly VND 21 trillion, will widen the road from its current 19-27 meters to 60 meters with up to 14 lanes, including an elevated section. Expected to be completed by 2028, the project aims to alleviate severe traffic congestion at the city's northeastern gateway.
