Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Holds Talks with Cambodian Counterpart, Affirming Strengthened Bilateral Ties

On July 28th, Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man presided over a welcoming ceremony and held talks with Cambodian National Assembly Chairman Samdech Khuon Sudary at the National Assembly House in Hanoi. Samdech Khuon Sudary is on an official visit to Vietnam from July 27th to 29th. During the talks, both sides agreed to further strengthen and develop the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries in a new phase. In particular, policies were confirmed to promote exchanges at the party, government, national assembly, and people-to-people levels, aiming for further deepening of bilateral relations. Vietnam and Cambodia have built close ties over many years. The Communist Party of Vietnam and the Cambodian People's Party play a crucial role as the political foundation of their relations, with cooperation advancing in various fields including economy, security, and culture. This meeting served as an important opportunity to reaffirm the continuous development of bilateral relations and their contribution to regional stability.
