Vietnam to raise base salary and pensions in July overhaul
The Vietnamese government has issued Decrees 161 and 162, raising the statutory base salary to VND 2.53 million per month and increasing pensions and social insurance benefits by 8 percent, effective July 1, to address inflation and improve public sector welfare.
