3.6 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Homes in Cao Bang

A 3.6 magnitude earthquake struck Cao Bang province in northern Vietnam on the evening of July 30. The epicenter was near the Chinese border at a depth of approximately 10 km. Residents felt their homes shake and briefly evacuated outdoors. Fortunately, no casualties or significant damage have been reported. The area is situated within an active geological fault zone.
