Two car bomb explosions occurred in Myawaddy city today in the early morning

It is known that two car bomb explosions occurred in two locations in Myawaddy city, located on the Myanmar-Thailand border, around 1:15 AM on September 13. It is known that a car, believed to be a Honda Fit, which was parked in front of the Myawaddy District Reconstruction Office on Aung Zeya Road in Ward 5 of Myawaddy city, exploded and caught fire. A resident living on Aung Zeya Road in Ward 5 said, "This area is close to the Reconstruction Office, post office, police station, and court, so for security reasons, the authorities do not allow cars to be parked at night. There were no cars until 7 PM. We didn't see after 7 PM either. The sound was loud, and the fire broke out, so we were shaken." It is known that gas cylinders installed with bombs on the car exploded, causing a loud noise and fire, and after that, one gas cylinder remained unexploded. There was no damage to surrounding houses and buildings. Similarly, it is known that a small car exploded and caught fire at 1:14 AM today in front of the Traffic Police Office at the intersection of Chit Kyi Road and Yape Road in Ward 5. Due to the explosion near the Traffic Police Office, the roof and windows of the Traffic Police Office building were shattered, but there were no casualties among people or animals. In Myawaddy city, on the night before the previous election, an explosion occurred in front of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) office on the main road of Bhurintanaw, causing damage to many houses and buildings, and a young woman died.
