The US Embassy in the Kingdom of Cambodia has chosen the Chaktomuk pedestrian street in Daun Penh district to organize a celebration to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American Independence Day, along with an exhibition of American food and products, which opened to the public on the evening of July 4, 2026. This event was held in the presence of His Excellency Khuong Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh, and Ms. Aleksandra Zittle, Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Attendees walked through the stalls and sampled American food. His Excellency Khuong Sreng added that through the diplomatic relations between the two countries, the sectors of trade, investment, education, and demining in Cambodia have improved, along with a shared commitment to maintaining global security.
