Takeo Province Governor Inspects Bid Opening for Commune/Sangkat Fund Development Projects

Takeo Provincial Governor, H.E. Vey Samnang, along with provincial deputy governors, relevant department heads, Prey Kabbas district authorities, and technical officials, inspected and observed the bid opening process for the 2026 Commune/Sangkat Fund development projects in Bankam Commune, Prey Kabbas District, Takeo Province. The ceremony took place at the Bankam Commune Hall on Friday, July 17, 2026. H.E. Vey Samnang instructed the companies that won the bids to expedite construction to ensure that the road users, the citizens, can benefit from the project quickly and utilize it in their daily lives. The governor emphasized that the companies that won the bids today must pay close attention to implementing the construction correctly according to technical standards, and especially not to deviate from the contract. This is to ensure that the completed road infrastructure is robust and can be used for a long time by the residents in the locality. He also further instructed and urged the Bankam Commune authorities to diligently monitor and inspect the progress of the road construction or development by the companies that have been granted the rights on a regular basis. Direct inspections by local authorities are intended to ensure that the companies are indeed implementing according to the contract and technical standards, avoiding substandard construction that leads to the road's premature deterioration. The governor also warmly congratulated the companies that have been granted construction rights and expressed strong confidence that both the construction companies and the local authorities will cooperate well to contribute to the development of infrastructure in the province with high quality.
