DBM Releases P9.75 Billion for Free Higher Education Program
The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has released P9.75 billion to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to cover the costs of the Free Higher Education (FHE) program, which state universities and colleges (SUCs) had previously shouldered with their own resources. This release addresses arrears from academic years 2022-2023 through 2024-2025.
