Ho Chi Minh City East: Metro Expansion Fuels Real Estate Development
The development of new metro lines in Ho Chi Minh City's East, particularly around the National University area, is benefiting real estate projects. The Bcons Aria project is poised to gain from this infrastructure expansion and subsequent economic activity.
Bcons Aria, located in the National University Village area of Ho Chi Minh City, is set to benefit from three metro lines connecting the city center, Long Thanh Airport, and Binh Duong (former). With the implementation of a series of infrastructure projects, the East of Ho Chi Minh City is transitioning from its role as a gateway to an innovative and creative growth pole, where flows of commerce and economic resources converge. As of June 2026, after more than a year of operation, Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) has served over 35 million passengers, averaging 65,000 trips daily. This indicates that urban rail transit is gradually becoming a habitual mode of transportation for residents. Ho Chi Minh City aims to develop hundreds of kilometers of urban rail by 2030. During this period, the locality is accelerating procedures to commence construction on several lines, including Binh Duong - Suoi Tien, Line 6 (Tan Son Nhat International Airport - Phu Huu) Phase 1, Thu Dau Mot - Ho Chi Minh City, and Metro Line 2 (Tham Luong - An Ha - Northwest Urban Area). Regarding the Suoi Tien - Long Thanh Airport line, Dong Nai province is also expediting procedures to meet the government's directive for completion by 2030. With this metro development roadmap, the Ho Chi Minh City National University Village area will gain two additional metro lines: Binh Duong - Suoi Tien and Suoi Tien - Long Thanh Airport. Additionally, residents will still be able to travel to Tan Son Nhat Airport via Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) and Line 6 Phase 1 (Tan Son Nhat International Airport - Phu Huu). According to experts, the metro network has provided the East with a convenient transportation system. This infrastructure impacts the area's appearance, expands logistical flows, creates more room for commerce, and attracts people and economic activities. This opens up opportunities for the Bcons Aria project. The project is located two minutes from the National University Village, providing access to over 100,000 students and trainees, along with lecturers. Nearby is the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park, currently home to approximately 51,000 workers, and numerous production zones with a large number of experts and engineers, such as Linh Xuan and Linh Trung export processing zones. Bcons Aria is catering to this demand with 1,274 apartments, primarily ranging from 50-67 sqm, meeting the housing needs of today's young people. Beyond daily commute advantages, Bcons Aria, situated on Ba Huyen Thanh Quan Street intersecting with Thong Nhat Boulevard, benefits from the area's comprehensive utility ecosystem in Dong Hoa ward. Within minutes, residents can access dining, shopping, accommodation, education, healthcare, and entertainment facilities. Furthermore, the Bcons Group has been developing urban clusters offering approximately 264 utilities to the area, spanning education, commerce, offices, and entertainment. Bcons City is operational, Bcons Center City is under development, along with the B.School system, a commercial center, pedestrian street, park, and sports area. As part of the Bcons project complex along Thong Nhat Boulevard, Bcons Aria will enjoy these amenities.
