Cambodia Launches New Gymnastics Coaching Program

The Gymnastics Federation of Cambodia has launched its 2026 National Development Youth MAG Academy (Aerobic Level 1-2) coaching course and training camp in Kampong Chhnang province. The 5-day training program, held from September 20-24, aims to equip participants with fundamental knowledge and practical skills as gymnastics coaches. Led by Mr. Noy Pana, Secretary General of the Gymnastics Federation and a senior instructor, and assisted by Ms. Sao Sokie, the course will cover both theoretical aspects and hands-on application. A total of 22 trainees, including 7 women, are participating in the course. They hail from five provinces: Phnom Penh, Kratié, Stung Treng, Kampong Cham, and the host province of Kampong Chhnang. The program is supported by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and is being conducted in collaboration with the Kampong Chhnang Provincial Department of Education, Youth and Sport. This initiative is part of the Gymnastics Federation's long-term strategy to elevate the standard of gymnastics in Cambodia and foster the development of promising young athletes.
